He departed this life on December 2, 2024, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, June Marie Clark, two brothers, Sammy Clark and Dougie Clark, three sisters, Pamela Jeanette Clark, Anita Jacobs and Ramona Barnes.

Mr. Archie leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Essie Clark of the home, two sons: Danny Wade Clark of Red Springs, North Carolina, Jeremy Lynn Clark of Maxton, North Carolina, one daughter: Sophia Anita Clark of Maxton, North Carolina, his adopted parents: Carl Glenn and Dobin, two sisters: Lou Lou and Janal Royal, two grandchildren: Kaden Clark and Lakelynn Sage Clark, special brothers-in-law: Jessie Locklear and Terry Clark, special sister-in-law: Patsy Locklear, nieces: Camela Jenel Clark and Amariss Clark, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
