Mrs. Annie Ruth Locklear age 73 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on November 07, 1949, to the late Mr. Frank Babe Jacobs and late Mrs. Annie Barnes. She departed this life into eternity on Sunday, November 05, 2023, at Richmond County Hospice in Richmond County surrounded by her loving family. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Locklear, four brothers, Willis Barnes, William Barnes, Buck Barnes and Fred Hunt, three sisters, Estelle Locklear, Rosa Lee Barnes, Roberta Jacobs.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Timmy Jacobs of McColl, South Carolina; daughter, Carolyn Locklear (Darren) of Maxton, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Timmy Jacobs Jr, Kriska Ann Jacobs, Camry Cheyenne Jacobs, five great-grandchildren, Leland Jacobs, Lance Jacobs, Alina Jacobs, Kaelen Jacobs, Bryson Malcolm, extended grandchildren: Aaron Cody Emanuel, Jeremiah Cole Emanuel, Miach Elijah Emanuel, two sisters, Margaret Oxendine of Charlotte, North Carolina, Grace Lee Morgan of Baltimore Md, godson, Matthew Emanuel (Sabrina), three special nieces, Lisa Emanuel and Maxine Bullard and Christina Bullard, a host of great nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
