She departed this life into her heavenly home on May 19, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Raeford and Levion "Bill" Lowery, maternal grandparents, Jack and Stella Smith, maternal grandfather, Foster Jacobs, great-grandmother, Linnie Carter, nephews, Fred O'Renzo Lowery, Quintin O'Neil Lowery, great nephew, James Terrance Harris Ivey and a host of other close family and friends that went before her.
