Mr. Amos "Brownie" Locklear, age  64 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born July 1, 1957 to the late Mr. Sam Locklear and the late Mrs. Athlee Locklear in Robeson County. He departed this life on April 11, 2022 at his residence. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by four brothers, Johnnie Locklear, Hank Locklear, Harry Locklear, Curt Locklear. two sisters, Kathleen Locklear, Geraldine Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Ethel Jacobs of Pembroke, North Carolina; one son, Demps Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina; three brothers, Jerry Locklear, Carlton Locklear and Carson Locklear. one sister, Clara Barton, all of Red Springs, North Carolina; five grandchildren, his beloved pet Trooper Locklear, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
