Mr. Alvin Ray Oxendine age 76 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on January 29, 1945, to the late Ches Oxendine and the late Ethel Jane Oxendine in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on July 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Peggy Oxendine, his sons: Charles Christie, Fred Allen Oxendine, Alvin Scott Oxendine, his siblings: Jerry Oxendine, J. L. Oxendine, Linda Oxendine, Faye Oxendine, a grandson Zachary Oxendine.

Mr. Alvin leaves to cherish his memories three sons: Donald Oxendine, Michael Locklear both of Pembroke, North Carolina, Cody Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina, five daughters: Penny Oxendine of Pembroke, North Carolina, Robin Taylor of Red Springs, North Carolina, Liz Goins, Connie Ray Christie of Red Springs, North Carolina, Casey Locklear of Maxton, North Carolina, one brother: Jerry Dean Oxendine and Edith Ann of Pembroke, North Carolina, one sister: Brenda McKinney of Rowland, North Carolina, a long time special friend: Ben Frank Jacobs, thirty-five grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
