Mrs. Vera Morgan age 84 of Red Springs, North Carolina was the daughter of the late Mr. Milford Jacobs and the late Mrs. James Anna Hunt. She was born on May 01, 1934 in Robeson County and departed this life on July 10, 2018 at her home. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband ,Hubert Morgan, son Hubert Earl Morgan, three daughters: Flora Jane Morgan, Emma Jane Hammonds and Faye Oxendine: grandson James H. Bartley.

Mrs. Vera leaves to cherish her memories, two sons; James Morgan and wife Bertha of Red Springs, North Carolina and Robert (Charlie) Morgan of the home. two daughters; Vivian Bartley and husband Rev. Franklin Bartley of Maxton, North Carolina, Marie Allsbrooks and husband James of Lumber Bridge North Carolina; Six brothers, two sisters, 16 grandchildren, Mary M. Graves ( Eddie) Don. E Morgan, Jonathan Morgan, Glenda Morgan, Latosha Morgan, Terry W. Morgan (Stephanie), Mary Nell Morgan, Vera L. Morgan, Stephanie Hammonds, Alyssa Allsbrooks, Ashley Allsbrooks, Jamie Holder (Keith), James Morgan ( Kristi), Robert Morgan, Frankie Bartley Jr and Waymon Bartley; 38 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren  and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Sunday July 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of the Living God in Maxton, North Carolina. Visitation will be Saturday July 14, 2018 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Red Springs, North Carolina.
