Mr. Michael Ray Oxendine age 50 of Red Springs was born to the late Henry Lee Locklear and Mrs. Cathy Dial Locklear on March 18, 1968 in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on Saturday October 13, 2018. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by adopted father, Wheeler Oxendine, grandmother Liza Dial, stepfather Ernest B. Locklear and son Timothy Oxendine.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Judy Oxendine of the home; his mother Cathy Dial Locklear of Raeford, North Carolina; two daughters, Beatrice Lynette Oxendine of Raeford, North Carolina; one stepdaughter Rene Locklear of Lumberton, North Carolina; two stepsons, Korey Oxendine of Lumberton, North Carolina; Terry Oxendine and wife Jessica of Rowland, North Carolina. two brothers, Ernest Jr. Locklear and wife Tonya of Shannon, North Carolina; Donald Ray Locklear and wife Felicia of Raeford, North Carolina. five sisters, Loretta Shorts and husband Mark of Shannon, North Carolina; Katheleen Jones of Red Springs, North Carolina; Joyce Marie Locklear an husband Linwood of Raeford, North Carolina; Kathy Ann Locklear of Raeford, North Carolina; Mandy Jane Locklear and husband William; eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friend.
