Mr. Scott Chavis, age 47, of 93 Reservation Rd, Shannon, North Carolina was born on April 05, 1970 to the late Rev, Howard Chavis and the late Shirley Lambert Chavis in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on Sunday, February 04, 2018. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Chavis and Ronnie Chavis, one granddaughter, Violeta Garcia

He leaves to cherish his memories; one son, Justin Chavis (Bobbie Locklear Chavis) of Shannon, North Carolina; one daughter, Ashley Chavis of Shannon, North Carolina; four brothers, Howard Chavis Jr (Glenda), James Chavis, Dean Chavis, and Randy Chavis all of Shannon, North Carolina; three sisters Diane Locklear, Tammy Chavis, and Patricia Chavis all of Shannon, North Carolina; one granddaughter,Shilynn Chavis; special sister-in-law Halina Locklear and a special nephew Boo-Boo Jr (James Chavis Jr) and a host of other relatives and friends.
