Ms. Rita F. Locklear age 61 of Shannon, North Carolina was born on January 01, 1958 to the late Mr. Prentice Maynor and Mrs. Dorothy Oxendine Maynor in Robeson County, North Carolina. She departed this life on Friday, June 07, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. Rita is preceded in death by her father Prentice Maynor and one sister Lori Ann Maynor.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son Daniel Locklear of Shannon, North Carolina, one daughter, Aleeya Locklear (Barshay Sims -BJ) of Pembroke, North Carolina; her mother, Dorothy Maynor of Shannon, North Carolina; two brothers, Rev. Jackie Maynor and wife Margaret of Shannon, North Carolina and Pete Maynor of Shannon, North Carolina; her husband Ronnie Locklear. two special sons, Josh Oxendine and Ryan Lambert ( Little Man). seven grand-children: Dantrell Jones, LaQuitta Locklear, Landon Oxendine, Jacoby Locklear, Leland Oxendine, Alorianna Locklear and B3 Sims ( Little BJ) and a host of family and friends.
