Mr. Lawrence Elvis Locklear age 61 of St. Pauls, North Carolina was born on November 4, 1957 to Melvin Locklear and the late Shirley Norton Locklear in Dillon County, South Carolina. He departed this on February 5, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Diane Locklear and a sister Shelby Locklear.
Lawrence was a jack of all trades. He made his family with the late Fannie Jacobs. Lawrence loved to play his guitar. Lawrence gave his life to the Lord and was baptized. To know Lawrence was to love him. He made everyone laugh. Lawrence loved his children and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sons Christopher Lynn Jacobs of McColl, South Carolina, Alston Locklear of South Carolina and Brian Mcie of Wilmington, North Carolina, six daughters Sheryl Ann Jacobs and Tony, Shannon Stephens all of St. Pauls, North Carolina, Angela Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina, Chasitie Mcie and Antonio of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jennifer Estremera and Joshua of Wilmington, North Carolina and Erica Mcie of Lumberton, North Carolina, three brothers Dannie (Sam) Locklear of Clio, South Carolina, Clay Locklear of McColl, South Carolina, Otis Locklear of Laurinburg, North Carolina, three sisters Virginia Brison of Dublin, North Carolina, Sandra Lee Meggs of McColl, South Carolina, Dell Sellars of White Oak, North Carolina, nineteen grandchildren two special friends Linda Seals and Delois and a host of other relatives and friends.
