Jamya Cheona McLean

Jamya Cheona McLean age 5, the precious daughter of Gary McLean and Kimberly Smith McLean was born on March 05, 2014 in Durham County. Jamya went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by a uncle, Joey Revels and Papa, Gregoria Flores.

Jamya was a kindergarten at Sandy Grove Elementary School. She loved to sing, dance and was loved by so many.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father Gary McLean and mother Kimberly McLean of the home; three brothers, Joey Smith, Jayden McLean, and Tyquan Jones all of the home. two sisters, Jazaira McLean and Shiann Jones of the home. maternal grandparents, Mary Ann Revels Smith and Nelson Harrington Smith (Anne) of Moncure North Carolina. paternal grandparents, Garry McLean of Rowland North Carolina and Johnetta German of Charleston, South Carolina.Uncles: Christopher Ray Jones, Tyraan Mclean, Travis McLaughlin and Christian Brown. Aunts: Lorraine Jones (Bonnie) Matasha Windom, Lawanda Sinclair (Gerald), Felicia Locklear Davis (Keith), Talise McLean, Erricka O'Bryant and Tabitha McLaughlin, special cousins, Quleita Chavis and Shawn Chavis, Shane Sinclair, Nucy Sinclair, Melissa Matthews, Mishon Windom, Duane Robinson, Darlene Hall and Tyler Mclean. Special great aunts, Joann Revels and Loleita Revels. Special friends, Ready, and Dwill. A special thanks to  Dr. Elizabeth and Sandhills Pedatrics, her physical therapists, Carol, Becka, and Michelle. Speech therapist Mrs. Kelly. All staff and doctors at Duke University Hospital that provided healthcare to Jamya. A host of other family and friends.
