Mr. Douglas Ray Jacobs age 65 of Red Springs, North Carolina was born on March 03, 1953 to the late Bobby Ray Jacobs and the late Mozell Clark Jacobs in Robeson County, North Carolina. He was raised by his grandparents the late Manteo Clark and the late Ella Hunt Clark. He departed this life on October 14, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, North Carolina. Along with his parents and grandparents he was preceded in death by three brothers Clinton Jacobs, Joel Carter and Jimmy Jacobs.

Ray was always full of life and brought lots of laughter and smiles to the people around him. He will truly be missed. He was a fan of Nascar and Big Trucks.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son Eric Ray Jacobs of Fairmont, North Carolina, three daughters Amanda Jacobs Hill and husband Patrick, Monica Jacobs Locklear and husband Sean all of Fairmont, North Carolina and Kimberly Jacobs and Ricky of Red Springs, North Carolina, two stepdaughters Telisha Locklear and Tanya Locklear both of Red Springs, North Carolina seven brothers Phillip Jacobs of Oklahoma, Aubrey Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina, Alex Jacobs of Pembroke, North Carolina, Mark Jacobs of Stedman, North Carolina, Dexter Jacobs of Fairmont, North Carolina, Lee Edward Jacobs of Virginia, and Ardell Lowery of Pembroke, North Carolina, five sisters Carolyn Frie of Oklahoma, Bridgette Jacobs of Maxton, North Carolina, Lulu Raby of St. Pauls, North Carolina, Deidre Jacobs of New Jersey and Demetria Locklear of Raeford, North Carolina, fifteen grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends
