Douglas Luther Hunt

Mr. Douglas Luther Hunt age 81 of Lumberton, North Carolina was born on January 18, 1938 to the late Mr. Luther Hunt and the late Mrs. Mary Jane Hunt in Robeson County, North Carolina. He departed this life on April 26, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marie Hunt, a daughter Wanda Carter and a very special friend Vickie Chavis.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons Ricky Hunt of Red Springs, North Carolina and Lucas Hunt of Raeford, North Carolina, four daughters Jennie Hunt, Marlas Hunt, Topanga Oxendine and Lawanda Sinclair all of Raeford, North Carolina, one brother Tony Hunt of Baltimore, Maryland, one sister Annie Hunt of Roseboro, North Carolina, twelve grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
