She was born on March 16, 1986 to Mr. Garry (Cotton) Dial  and Mrs. Linda Locklear Dial in Robeson County, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Chavis, nephew Landon Dial, grandparents Rev. Claudie Dial, Essie Mae Bryant Dial, Robert Locklear, Morilla Locklear her aunts Sarah Locklear and Lola Locklear;

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter Kristy Dial of the home, her mother Linda Locklear Dial of Red Springs, North Carolina, her father Gary "Cotton" Dial (Gloria) of Lumberton, North Carolina, five brothers: William Dial (Brandy) of Maxton, North Carolina, Blake Locklear (Tammy), Donald  Lowery, Messiah Lowery, and Maximus Lowery of Red Springs, North Carolina. Aunts: Betty Locklear, Brenda Lowery, Aleatha Locklear, Ethel Rogers, Gwen Locklear, and Dorothy Hammonds, Uncles: Robert(Bossy) Locklear (Rita), Larry Locklear, Elisha Dial, Samuel Dial, and Dozier Ray Dial, nieces Zada Dial, London Dial, nephews William Ray Troublefield, William Lathan Dial, Isaiah Locklear, Randy Dial and a host of other relatives and friends.
